Understanding of High Court processes and Commercial Arbitration rules
Drafting of legal agreements such as – Sale of Business, Shareholders’ agreements, Asset for Shares, Subscription, Call-option, Non-Disclosure, Employment, Confidentiality / Restraint, Surety / Loan Agreements as well as Memorandum of Incorporation, Wills & Deeds of Trust, Board / Shareholder Resolutions, Board Charters, Terms of Reference, and Policies
An interest in and a working knowledge of Business Rescue
Good drafting skills required for legal opinions, pleadings, etc.
Experience in Commercial Litigation, Administrative Law, Corporate Law, and Dispute Resolution (more specifically Mediation and Arbitration)
Experience
2- 5 years relevant post-articles experience
Must be an admitted attorney (right of appearance and experience in High Court litigation will be an added advantage)
Experience in Commercial litigation is essential
Experience in Insolvency, Business Rescue and Restructuring; Commercial Dispute Resolution
Drafting and interpretation of commercial agreements
